GoDaddy Body Builder Super Bowl Commercial Actually Makes Sense This Year (VIDEO)

WATCH: GoDaddy's Ad Features 'Body Builder' Danica Patrick

After years of controversial commercials that emphasized sex appeal over functionality, GoDaddy is trying something different this year with a spot that actually kind of makes sense.

The internet domain-name registrar and web hosting site offers up a body builder-themed ad for one of its two Super Bowl spots this year. The commercial features a horde of body builders including NASCAR star Danica Patrick with huge, artificially-swollen muscles.

The pack of pumped-up, shirtless men and women grows as it runs down a city street, eventually converging on a tanning salon. The commercial's tagline is “Get Found, Get Business.”

“The transformation in Danica is a little akin to the transformation of GoDaddy and the advertising we’re going for," Barb Rechterman, GoDaddy chief marketing officer, told The Arizona Republic. “Danica looking like a bodybuilder cuts through a lot of noise.”
