Bill O'Reilly Claims Obama Interview Will 'Go Down In Journalistic History'

Bill O'Reilly is really pleased with his recent interview with President Obama — so pleased, in fact, that he believes the interview will "go down in journalistic history."

O'Reilly sat down with Obama before the Super Bowl on Sunday. "I'm going to predict that that interview that I did is going to go down in journalistic history as what should be done," the host said Thursday. He made the comments on his Fox News colleague Geraldo Rivera's radio show. "It takes a certain skill to pose questions in a factual way and be persistent without being disrespectful."

Some viewers would disagree with O'Reilly's assessment of the interview. The Fox News host, however, dismissed his critics on Thursday, saying, "Anybody annoyed by that interview is annoyed because of ideology."

O'Reilly and Obama had a tense conversation about health care, Benghazi and the IRS. At one point, O'Reilly pressed the president to reply to criticism of his administration's handling of the Benghazi attack and the president hit out at Fox News in his response.

In the second portion of the interview, Obama also said that he believes Fox News is "absolutely" unfair to him.
