'90s Comb Headbands Make A Comeback At Helmut Lang's Fall 2014 Show (PHOTOS)

'90s Comb Headbands Make A Comeback At Fashion Week

While scrolling through the HuffPost Beauty Twitter feed just one last time before heading to bed, I stopped the second this backstage photo from Helmut Lang's Fall 2014 show popped up. Were the models really wearing '90s comb headbands? A quick Google search confirmed my suspicions.

Global Creative Director for Wella Professionals Eugene Souleiman somehow managed to make this retro hair accessory look cool again. "I wanted to create a hair look that was technical and almost geological in feel, to complement the textures and patterns of the collection. I felt that the hair needed to be both abstract yet precise and I wanted to incorporate different textures in to the same hair look," said Souleiman.

The slicked-back ponytails he perfected balanced Lang's slouchy yet sexy fall designs. And the stark hair parts made for an interesting contrast against the models' blonde, brown and red hair. Wella Professionals Ocean Spritz Beach Texture Spray added a raw, matte texture.

Will you be sporting '90s comb headbands again? Amy Adams is feeling it. Check out the look below and tell me what you think.
