Matt Mortensen represents the United States of Men's Doubles luge, and he has shown us what it's like to be him on the track.
In a video he uploaded personally onto YouTube, the olympic athlete brought along a GoPro camera for one of his rides in Sochi.

During the run, you can get a good idea of how fast Mortensen is going when you see spectators and camera men blur past him as he is hurled down the track. To check out luge from a first hand perspective, watch the video above.
