Obama Requests 'True Detective' & 'Game of Thrones' Screeners For Holiday Weekend Binge-Watching

Obama Watched Just As Much TV As You Did This Holiday Weekend

President Obama is just as addicted to his TV shows as you are. Turns out, Obama asked for advance copies of "True Detective" and "Game Of Thrones" to make Presidents Day weekend a little bit better.

There are only three episodes of "True Detective" left, but after seeing that insane six-minute tracking shot and Sunday's Reggie Ledoux revelation, we, too, would politely beg for advance copies if we were the leader of the free world. Never mind that "Game Of Thrones" Season 4 doesn't return until April! (Just tide yourself over with the newest trailer.)

We already knew Obama was a TV nut. On Thursday night, his camp tweeted, "Tomorrow: @HouseOfCards. No spoilers please."

But it was Alexandra Daddario -- she plays Marty Hart's (Woody Harrelson) jilted lover on "True Detective" -- who tweeted what we were all thinking:
