Calm down, Serge Ibaka. Now is not the time for fear. That comes later.
Should the Miami Heat and the Oklahoma City Thunder meet in the 2014 NBA Finals then Ibaka could have to contend with an angry LeBron James in June. In the shorter term, the NBA teams scheduled to face the Heat in the coming weeks may have deal with the masked "Bane James."
The Thunder power forward delivered a hard foul that broke James' nose on Thursday night at Chesapeake Energy Arena. The four-time NBA MVP absorbed the heavy contact from Ibaka as he rose up for a dunk in the fourth quarter of the Heat's 103-81 win. After the slam, James dropped to the court, bleeding from the nose. He would leave the game and not return. On Friday, the team confirmed that James had suffered a broken nose on the play.
Anticipating that he could soon by sporting a protective face mask, James shared an image on Instragram not long after the game that could be giving his foes nightmares.
