Michelle Obama: Sasha And Malia 'Want Nothing To Do With Us'

At 15- and 12-years old, it shouldn't be a huge surprise that the Obama girls are pulling away from their parents. It's perfectly normal at that age. And yet, it was still hilarious seeing First Lady Michelle Obama explain to Jimmy Fallon on "The Tonight Show" what has happened at the White House.

"They want nothing to do with us," she said. "Malia’s like, ‘God, Dad, please. Don’t come to my school. Whatever you do." Obama said that her children want normalcy, and the White House isn't normal. To get that, they try and leave it as often as possible.

"I’ll say, ‘Don’t you want to invite your friends over and watch a movie?’ And [they'll say], ‘No one wants to come here,'" Obama said, which Fallon couldn't believe. Who wouldn't want to go to the White House to hang?

While her kids may want nothing to do with her, The Washington Post's JulieAnn McKellogg was all about FLOTUS in late night, saying that she totally won the "first lady of late night" award. She's made more talk show appearances than any previous First Lady.

"The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. EST on NBC.
