Scott Brown Couldn't Let More Time Pass Without Some Form Of Political Speculation

Former Sen. Scott Brown (R-Mass.) is pushing political commenters to move away from one narrative -- that he will challenge Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-N.H.) in 2014 -- to another by fueling speculation that he is considering a run for president in 2016.

Brown is planning another visit to Iowa, where he will speak at a Ringgold County GOP dinner on April 3, CNN reported Tuesday.

The state plays a critical role in the presidential nominating contest as the first state to hold a presidential caucus.

Brown has already visited Iowa twice since last summer.

In December, the former senator moved from Massachusetts to neighboring New Hampshire, where he has a home. A GOP strategist told CNN that he will make his decision about whether to challenge Shaheen in the next few weeks.
