Behold: Ruby Falls!
It's really a stunning sight. Roughly 1,120 feet below ground near Chattanooga, Tennessee sits the nation's largest and deepest waterfall (that's open to the public).
Named Ruby Falls for the founder's wife, the 145-foot fall opened to the public in 1930 (it sits near the now-closed Lookout Mountain Caves). Visitors take an hour-long tour that shows off the illuminated falls, which are basically an Instagrammer's dream.
