The premiere of the fourth season of "Game Of Thrones" is still a long, it's-never-going-to-get-here month away, but HBO has prepared a surprise treat to keep fans' minds occupied -- well, their ears, at least. This Friday, HBO releases "Catch The Throne," a 10-song mixtape including several hip-hop artists such as Wale, Big Boi, and Common.

Each song includes music from the original "Game of Thrones" soundtrack, and touches on the storylines and themes from the first three seasons. Wale's contribution includes a beat inspired by the show's theme song, rapping atypical lines such as, "I'm tellin' whoever messin' with me / I can bring you that Khaleesi heat / Use my King, knack for words, as an actual sword / I can decapitate a rapper …"

According to The Wall Street Journal, the mixtape's purpose is to reach out to the show's "multicultural audience," hoping that it will "encourage more rap fans to watch the show." You can download the mixtape for free here starting this Friday.
