HUVr Hoverboard Is Not Shipping In December (Or Ever, For That Matter)

Posted: Updated:

That viral video of a "Back To The Future" style HUVr hoverboard making the rounds? Yeah, looks like it won't be shipping in December after all, but you already knew that... right?

The folks at Funny or Die came clean this week and admitted they created the fake product demo.

Still, it's fun to see Christopher Lloyd, Tony Hawk, Terrell Owens, Agnes Bruckner, Schoolboy Q and Moby trying to promote the product. It's even more amusing to watch Lloyd act outraged about it afterward, as if he was pranked too.

"We were hoodwinked, flim-flammed, hornswoggled, shanghaied, bamboozled, hoverduped, swindled and scammed," he says in an "apology" video posted online that's just as genuine as the HUVr itself.
