Children's Hospital Patients And Staff Have A Truly 'Happy' Dance Party

Posted: Updated:

Despite facing hard times, the patients at Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital in Hollywood, Fla., refuse to lose their smiles.

Earlier this month, the hospital's child life department posted this adorable video of their dance party set to Pharrell Williams' song "Happy." In the video, staff members let out their inner child and join their young patients in lip-syncing and dancing to the upbeat song.

The hospital made the video in honor of Child Life Month -- a time to educate the community about the child health care profession, as well as the needs of families and children facing serious health care issues.

The staff and patients are the latest to join the growing trend of "Happy" videos.

Check out this international-themed rendition of the hit song shot in Poland, or this one of "Star Wars" characters boogieing down. And, of course, Pharrell himself performed at the Oscars earlier this month, and got celebrities like Lupita Nyong'o and Meryl Streep on their feet.

Watch the video above, and don't be afraid to join in!
