Rep. Tim Ryan (D-Ohio) sat down with HuffPost Live on Tuesday to talk about how he balances being a father and congressman.
Ryan leveled that the family part can definitely be harder, pointing to his wife being at the tail end of her pregnancy. She wants the birth to be as natural as possible, and his job is to make sure that drugs aren't given, prompting him to chuckle that he's in "a very difficult position."
That prompted another question: is he more terrified about that role, or going head-to-head with Republicans in Congress?
"Oh no, the baby, the birthing process," Ryan laughed. "But it's amazing, it's so beautiful."
