A local newspaper in the UK needed to clarify some comments it published about an apparent "goat war" on Wednesday morning.
That's right. The Argus, a newspaper based in Brighton, England, misattributed comments about a "war between mankind and goats" to Richard Robinson, the director of the Brighton Science Festival. The comments actually came from a reader, for an interview with Robinson in which he answered user-submitted questions.
The reader had also asked, “In an upcoming war between mankind and goats, which side will you be on? What techniques can science provide in order to give mankind an edge in a conflict against powerful and cunning goats?”
The Argus ran the following correction on Wednesday:
