In a not-so-pretty shade of pink, the window treatments in this home were making it feel old and outdated. Rather than send them to a landfill, "Home Made Simple" designer Jennifer Farrell decides to repurpose the blinds in an unexpected way -- using them to make a chic folding screen.
First, a wooden frame is built and and stained a rich espresso. Farrell removes the blinds and uses taupe-colored spray paint to make them more neutral.
Using a staple gun, she attaches the individual blinds to the frame and snips off any excess.
