Single Mom: Better Minimum Wage Would Change My Life

In an interview on HuffPost Live, single mother Katrina Gilbert, who is the subject of Maria Shriver's documentary "Paycheck to Paycheck: The Life & Times of Katrina Gilbert," suggested that the current minimum wage is too low.

Gilbert emphasized an increase in the minimum wage would change her life, and called President Barack Obama's executive order that raises federal contract workers' minimum wage a "step in the right direction."

When asked what needs to happen to improve her life, Gilbert says that she thinks "the minimum wage should go up."
