Emma Stone Cries Over The Spice Girls, Says She's Their Biggest Fan

Emma Stone Cries Over The Spice Girls, Sings 'Wannabe'

Emma Stone broke down in tears this week while promoting "The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Rise Of Electro" in Sydney, Australia -- but it had nothing to do with the movie, or her on- and off-screen beau Andrew Garfield, and everything to do with the Spice Girls.

That's right, Stone is a HUGE fan of the '90s girl band who took the world by storm with hits like "Wannabe," "Say You'll Be There" and "Spice Up Your Life." So, 2DayFM had a surprise for the redhead as she sat down for an interview, playing her a video message from Mel B, who often co-hosts the show with Sophie Monk and Merrick Watts.

"Oh my God, is Mel B talking to me? I'm going to cry. I'm so excited, I am legitimately crying," a teary-eyed Stone said as she watched the clip. "I am the biggest Spice Girls fan ever."

But although Mel B is a huge fan of hers, as well, she was a little upset that Stone confessed to Entertainment Weekly in 2012 that she "wanted to be Baby Spice."

"Why did you like Baby Spice and not me more?" Scary Spice told Stone. "Your punishment for that is I want you to do a rendition of one of the Spice Girls songs."

And that's when Stone belts out her own rendition of "Wannabe."
