RuPaul Drives... John Waters!

In this latest installment in his "RuPaul Drives" web series, the legendary RuPaul Charles takes a spin with the iconic filmmaker John Waters.

In one of the best installments in this web series yet, RuPaul and Waters talk about the development of their careers, Waters' time on the "Howdy Doody" show as a kid and, perhaps most interestingly, the mainstreaming of outsider identity in the modern age.

Waters also analyzes the audience he tends to make his work for:"Minorities that don't even fit in their own minorities," Waters tells RuPaul. "They can't even get along with their fellow lunatics! That's my core audience. People in prison with a sense a humor -- that's where I would have my best test screenings."
