Goat Simulator Video Game Gets A New Trailer

Goat Simulator May Just Be The World's Weirdest, Most Wonderful Video Game

Let's take a foray into the ridiculous, shall we? If you've ever dreamed of becoming a goat, of frolicking about town with your tongue lolling in the breeze, your opportunity has arrived. If you dream of headbutting people or objects but hold back, due to societal judgement, fear no more.

Let us introduce you to Goat Simulator, an alternate reality game that allows players to live out their days ... as a goat. No, we're not kidding, but the game-creators were when they first came up with the idea. Back in February, Coffee Stain Studios released a fictional game trailer, as a joke for fans and customers. The response was so incredibly positive, however, that they just had to make the Goat Simulator dream a reality. On March 26, the studio released the trailer shown above and goat-lovers everywhere rejoiced.

The whole game is intentionally crude, basic and, thus, incredibly amusing. In fact, Coffee Stain Studios wrote the following as a disclaimer for the game:

Goat Simulator is a small, broken and stupid game. It was made in a couple of weeks so don’t expect a game in the size and scope of GTA with goats. In fact, you’re better off not expecting anything at all actually. To be completely honest, it would be best if you’d spend your $10 on a hula hoop, a pile of bricks, or maybe a real-life goat.

Goat Simulator will be unleashed upon the game-playing world on April 1, but it is available for pre-order on the Coffee Stain Studios' blog. The Caprapocalypse is coming, and we are ready to see the weird, wonderful and hilarious player-streaming videos that it will produce.
