Today in ledes that write themselves: Shia LaBeouf isn't famous anymore, so it's a good thing he left the all-star cast of "Rock the Kasbah."

According to The Hollywood Reporter, LaBeouf will not appear in the Barry Levinson comedy, which is set to star Bill Murray, Danny McBride, Kate Hudson, Zooey Deschanel and Bruce Willis. HuffPost Entertainment contacted representatives for LaBeouf to see if they had further comment on the departure; this post will be updated if and when they respond.

That LaBeouf would step away from an upcoming project isn't necessarily a surprise. From Jan. 20 through Feb. 9 he tweeted the phrase "I AM NOT FAMOUS ANYMORE" daily from his Twitter account. (LaBeouf had previously written on Twitter that he was retiring from "all public life.") The 27-year-old actor also walked out of a press conference for Lars von Trier's "Nymphomaniac" in Berlin on Feb. 9, after quoting famed soccer player Eric Cantona. (This is to say nothing of LaBeouf's #IAMSORRY art exhibition, an event which saw the actor cry in front of numerous journalists.) LaBeouf's most recent tweet was a picture of sky-writing that read #STARTCREATING (a play on #STOPCREATING, a hashtag LaBeouf used when announcing his retirement). The phrase apparently didn't extend to "Rock the Kasbah."

LaBeouf will next be seen in "Fury," which Sony is set to release in November. Head to THR for more on "Rock the Kasbah."
