Sleep Experts On How To Have A Better Night's Rest

HuffPost Live is looking at the four pillars of the Third Metric this week in conjunction with the release of Arianna Huffington's newest book "Thrive: The Third Metric to Redefining Success and Creating a Life of Well-Being, Wisdom, and Wonder."

On Friday, HuffPost Live's Caroline Modarressy Tehrani took a closer look at well-being -- specifically, the role of sleep.

"A lot of people think of sleep in quantity, and what we really need to think about with sleep is quality," explained sleep specialist Dr. Michael Breus. "There's no magic number. Eight hours is a myth."

HuffPost Wellness Editor and author of "The Detox Solution" Dr. Patricia Fitzgerald added that one's quality of sleep is most commonly compromised by technological devices and poor diet choices.
