'Always Full' Starbucks Mugs Are The Meanest Morning Prank

We like to think of ourselves as glass-half-full type of people; that is, once we've had our cup of coffee and have fully awoken from our beautiful, sweet slumber. But before noon -- yes, it takes that long -- we prefer it if people kept their optimism to themselves. Especially when it comes from a coffee giant like Starbucks.

Starbucks has come out with a coffee mug that seethes with "glass-half-full" philosophy -- or mug completely full, to be more exact. These mugs, currently only available in Japan, make it look like your coffee drink is always full -- whether that drink be a caramel macchiato, latte or Americano. Even if you're down to your last sip.

While we appreciate the idea behind this mug, we don't like the fact that our bleary morning eyes could be tricked into thinking we had a lot more left to our beloved cup of coffee than one final sip. Can you imagine the disappointment? We can. And we're certain that it would be just about the worst way to start the day. Thanks, but no thanks, Starbucks.
