Posted: Updated:

Think Murphy beds are a genius idea? Then you'll love this toilet. Not only does it save major space by essentially folding into itself after use, but the "Iota," which was designed as a final-year project by two University of Huddersfield students, also has a rimless design that "makes it easier to keep the bowl clean."

And as an added bonus, it allegedly reduces water consumption by over 50 percent when flushing. Welcome to the greener, more shrinkable future... or something like that.
