Academy Award winner Kevin Costner joined HuffPost Live on Thursday to discuss his new movie, "Draft Day," and the 25-year anniversary of "Field of Dreams."

"I was really happy to make another movie that I think will live for a long time," Costner says of "Draft Day."

The 59-year old also discussed "Field of Dreams," and how it overcame all odds. "I knew the movie was great," he told Jordan Schultz of HuffPost Live. "What I didn't know [was] that it would be as popular as it has been. ... Nobody would have bet on that little movie."

Ever the sports fan, Costner talked about his dislike of fantasy football and who he would take if he really had the No. 1 pick in this year's NFL Draft. "I don't bet on games. I don't like fantasy football. ... I think I'd take Johnny [Manziel]. But if I felt like I had a quarterback, I think I'd take Johnny anyway.
