'Hedwig And The Angry Inch' On Broadway Is Going To Be Amazing, Here's Proof

If you've been waiting on the edge of your seat for just one more glimpse into the upcoming musical "Hedwig and the Angry Inch" starring Neil Patrick Harris, we finally have the video for you.

Courtesy of ABC News, the above clip features NPH, castmate Lena Hall, music and lyrics master Stephen Trask, and the author of the "Hewdig" book (not to mention the star of the adapted film and first off-Broadway production) John Cameron Mitchell, all of whom are eager to gush about how amazing the musical is going to be.

Oh, and they (along with host Lara Spencer) visit the "wig room." It's pure beauty.

Since the musical was first announced, hype has been building around NPH's return to Broadway. "He's kind of unbelievable," Trask muses in the video. "He's stunning," Mitchell adds. But he has big shoes to fill. The 1998 off-Broadway version of "Hedwig" and 2001 movie have essentially gone down in cult history, telling the poignant story of a fictional rock n' roll band fronted by an East German transgender singer.
