What Lindsay Learned From Filming Her Docu-Series

Six weeks after filming wrapped on Lindsay, the eight-part docu-series following the actress during her post-rehab recovery, the film crew traveled back to New York to get Lohan's final thoughts on her experience.

In the above clip, Lohan shares what it was like to see her struggles unfold in front of cameras.

"It's a really f***ed up disease and it's really scary," Lohan says about addiction. "There are drugs people have said I have done that I have never touched. And I know people that have done that, and I've tried to help a lot of people to get away from that s***, and to find a balance in life, to be OK with just being OK."

In the final episode of the series, Lohan discussed her post-rehab struggles, revealed she suffered a miscarriage and spoke about her infamous "sex list."

While watching her docu-series, Lohan says she noticed how alone she is at times. "There's no one around people sometimes, and I see that now," Lohan says. "It's f***ing terrifying."

Now, Lohan says she's learned who to surround herself with. "I've blocked so many people from my phone," she says.

She also explains that a recent spiritual cleanse was an "eye-opening" experience for her. "I saw my whole life in front of me, and I had to let go of past things that I was trying to hold onto that were dark in my life," Lohan shares. "And physically, I felt it when I had this experience. I saw myself die, it was insane. I saw myself being born. And I feel different, ever since that."

Though she found filming the docu-series scary in the beginning, Lohan says she's now in a better place. She's working on a new film, "Inconceivable" and has released a karaoke app with her brother, Michael Lohan Jr., called "Just Sing It."

"My work ethic is different," she says. "I have that fire back in me. I have that aggressiveness that I used to have to keep going, and that adrenaline rush that I get from doing good things and being happy, and feeding my soul again. And that feels incredible."
