Sean Hannity: Jon Stewart Is 'Kind Of Obsessed' With Me

Sean Hannity Takes On Jon Stewart

Sean Hannity fired back at Jon Stewart Tuesday night after the comedy show host mocked Hannity for his defense of Cliven Bundy, the Nevada rancher who allegedly refuses to pay grazing fees for his use of government-owned land.

Hannity called Stewart a "comedic hack" and said that his program, "The Daily Show," acts as the "chief apologists for the Obama administration." He said that Stewart's habit of focusing so much attention on Hannity's Fox News program is "more proof" that the Comedy Central host can't get enough of him.

"Remember he was begging me to stay in New York?" Hannity said. "He's kind of obsessed with this program."

Hannity said Stewart used clips that dated back more than eight years in his takedown of Hannity Monday night. The Fox News host added that he knows "things are tough" at Comedy Central and that Stewart's "army of writers" are struggling.

"They just can't give their viewers the facts," he said. "They have to spin the story."

Going after Hannity is nothing new for Stewart. In fact, the two have been sparring for years, so it's unclear why Hannity has chosen this instance to respond.
