Boxing Champ Arrested For Knocking Out Man Who Made Gay Advances: Report

Ex-professional boxer Kassim Ouma has been arrested for felony battery after knocking out a man who was allegedly making gay advances toward him, according to reports.

According to TMZ, the former North American Boxing Association (NABA) middleweight champ went to the Los Angeles home of the alleged victim, whom he had just met, for a drink. Once there, the man is believed to have made several unwelcome advances toward Ouma.

When Ouma got up to leave, the man is said to have made one final move before an altercation began, although further details are scarce.

News One pointed that Ouma, 35, returned to boxing last December after a two-year absence. In 2008, he was the subject of the documentary “Kassim the Dream."
