The 'Intern Queen' Lauren Berger Explains How To Dominate Your Internship

How Dominate Your Internship

When college graduation is right around the corner, it doesn't just mean enjoying the last semester and preparing for finals -- it also means a mountain of job and internship applications.

Lauren Berger, known as The Intern Queen, joined HuffPost Live to discuss some of her internship survival tips. Her first piece of advice was that looking for a job is a full-time job. She recommends college seniors and recent graduates spend 6 to 8 hours daily applying for a job. This might seem like a lot, but she insists that it will pay off.

But it is also crucial to maintain balance in your life, Berger said.

"When you're twenty something ... you're making no money and trying to go to dinner and drinks at the coolest places in town," Berger said. "You want to go out all the time but you have to work all the time. You are trying to balance everything and I would just say, take a deep breath, it's going to be okay."
