A baseball fan angry at a possible blown call ran onto the field during a game in South Korea and attacked an umpire, according to reports in the media and on Twitter.
The Associated Press reported that the unidentified 30-year-old fan ran onto the field in the 7th inning of Wednesday night's game between the Kia Tigers and SK Wyverns at Gwangju-Kia Champions Field, the home ballpark of the Tigers.

Reports out of Korea suggest that fans had been growing restless after a series of blown calls during the three-game set between the two teams. Park Keun-young, the umpire who was assaulted, made a safe call at first base call during a double play attempt in the sixth inning, but replays show the runner may have been out.
That call appeared to infuriate the fan, who leapt onto the field from a seating area called the "Surprise Zone" because of its close proximity to the action, Yonhap reported.
The news agency says there is no security in the "Surprise Zone" because guards could block the view.
Tigers manager Sun Dong-yol later apologized for "the unpleasant incident that caused our fans concern," according to Yonhap.
The Tigers won, 6-3.
