It's May 4th today so you know what that means: It's "Star Wars" dayMay the fourth be with you! In honor of this almost-too-great-to-be-true holiday, we're sharing the stories of a few magical real weddings that featured "Star Wars." Read on for some fun tales and fantastic photos.

  • Photographer Steven Kowalski shot the wedding of John and Mindy Doychich and created this eye-popping image of the couple and their best man and maid of honor. "They had mentioned wanting to do something different," Kowalski said. "I had the idea for them to be looking up at an epic battle."

  • This couple used a reading from "Star Wars" during their wedding ceremony.
  • One woman's fiance surprised her with these stunning "Star Wars"-themed wedding ring boxes. She explained on Reddit that the bottom ring in the photo above was made with a Gibeon meteorite inlay. Too cool!
  • Nadia and Dale went all in on their "Star Wars"-themed wedding -- just look at that Jabba the Hutt cake! The bride told Offbeat Bride, "Every entrance was matched to John Williams' ['Star Wars' film] score. The stormtroopers entered to Darth Vader's theme, along with Dale's dad as celebrant ... The Princess Leia flower girls and my handmaiden of honor entered to the pretty 'Across the Stars' love theme while I entered the chapel with my dad in a Jedi costume."

  • These lucky lovebirds had a couple of very special guests at their wedding!
  • Now that's a wedding outfit! The bride joked, "My husband and I wanted to get married quick. I 'forced' him into a 'Star Wars' wedding."

  • This pint-sized wedding guest got to have a pretty awesome Luke Skywalker moment with a light saber!
  • This "Star Wars"-loving pair took their passion for the film series to the next level by tattooing Han and Leia's famous exchange on their ring fingers.

CORRECTION: An earlier version of this story stated that it was Luke and Leia's "famous exchange" tattooed on the couples' fingers. The quotes were actually said by Han and Leia. The story has been updated to reflect the change.
