The Social Security Administration released the top baby names by state for 2013 on Thursday. Emma remains the top girls' name, claiming the No. 1 spot in 27 states. Liam, the top boys' name in 18 states, replaces last year's top state name, Mason.
The top names by state differ from the top national names, where Sophia and Noah take the top spots.
