LAS VEGAS (AP) — Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is worth between $2.9 million and $6.7 million, while U.S. Sen. Dean Heller's assets are valued between $2.9 million and $9.3 million, according to their latest financial disclosure statements.

The statements detailing the Nevada senators' holdings and debts in general ranges were filed this week with the U.S. Senate.

Reid's most valuable investments are in land and potential minerals in southern Nevada and Arizona, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported.

His assets include 160 acres in Bullhead City, Arizona, and majority interest on 55 acres and mineral rights beneath the land in Searchlight. Each was valued at between $250,000 and $500,000.

Reid, a Democrat, and his wife, Landra, also are invested in municipal securities valued at between $1.4 million and $3.1 million. The couple's liquid assets are managed through a blind trust.

Heller's hay farm in Lyon County's Smith Valley is one of his major assets as it's worth between $1 million and $5 million, the Reno Gazette-Journal reported.

The farm was 38 acres in 2012, but the Republican senator purchased 147 acres of adjacent land last year at a cost between $500,000 and $1 million.

Heller's wife, Lynne, has assets worth between $1.9 million and $3.7 million through the Brombach Family Ltd. Partnership, which invested in government securities throughout California.

Heller also listed a pension from the state of Nevada valued at $50,000 to $100,000. He served as Nevada's secretary of state from 1995 to 2007.

Lawmakers are only required to give ranges of their assets and liabilities instead of exact amounts.
