John Oliver mocked Shep Smith on Sunday with an impression for the ages.
Oliver was discussing a new European court ruling that could potentially allow people to remove unflattering search results from Google. The host played a clip of Smith marveling at what he could do if he could be forgotten. "I might go rob all the banks on the planet," Smith said.
Not so fast, Oliver cautioned. "Just because you erase yourself from the Internet doesn't mean you won't be caught for robbing banks," he pointed out. "That's not how basically anything works, but it's genuinely charming that you think it is."
Then, he busted out a Southern drawl. Watch it in the clip above.
