Shakira's 'Landslide' Cover Is Almost Too Good To Be True

Shakira's 'Landslide' Cover Is Almost Too Good To Be True

Shakira and "Landslide" might not be the most obvious combination, but we're here to tell you, it definitely works.

That's not to say that Stevie Nicks doesn't rule all, she does and she will forever overwhelm us with emotion with Fleetwood Mac's 1975 classic. But Shakira's cover is a must-watch for any fan of the song.

During the BMI Pop Awards on May 13th Nicks was honored with the BMI Icon Award for her outstanding career as a singer/songwriter. Part of the celebration included renditions of some of her songs by well-known artists including Adam Levine, Sheryl Crow and of course, Shakira, who concluded the tribute with "Landslide."

She gives the song a personal touch with her unique voice but doesn't take it too far, because the song is basically perfect. While on stage Shakira told the Nicks "you're my hero." Classy gal.

It was amazing, watch it now.
