'The Walking Dead' Is Even Better As An '80s Sitcom

You've Never Seen 'The Walking Dead' Like This Before

What could make a show about a post-apocalyptic world filled with flesh-eating monsters any better? Giving it an '80s sitcom-themed intro!

"The Walking Dead" serves up gore and death each week to its millions of fans, but one of the most terrifying parts of the series has got to be its famous title sequence. The ominous string orchestra, the creepy vintage shots of abandoned streets and lost teddy bears -- honestly, those opening credits give us the heebie jeebies more than anything else. But "The Wil Wheaton Project" just fixed all that.

Smiling faces, a jolly jingle, and live audience laughter totally transform one of TV's most violent programs into a family-friendly sitcom filled with sage advice and perfectly-timed puns.

Spoiler Alert: There be spoilers aplenty.
