Burgess Brothers Want Your Help Ending Homophobia In Sports

Posted: Updated:

Two goreous brothers took some time out of their day this week to bring you an important message: it's up to all of us to help end homophobia in sports.

With tremendous recent strides in the sports world in terms of queer equality, such as the drafting of openly gay Michael Sam into the NFL, the work of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) athlete allies is more relevant than ever. These two rugby-playing brothers, Sam and Tom Burgess, happen to be the siblings of another rugby player, George Burgess, who has developed quite a reputation for posting nude selfies.

In this video the brothers are encouraging viewers to join the fight to end homophobia by way of a ten-minute survey that claims to be the "first international study on homophobia in sports" through Out On The Fields. Head here to let your voice be heard.
