There's only a few months left until the Emmys air on Aug. 25, and "Mad Men" is making sure it gets plenty of consideration this year with a totally '60s campaign pitch.
The AMC show's new Emmy ads look like they came straight from the offices of SC&P. From shoes to shades and Pomade, each of the eight tongue-in-cheek ads cleverly spout some product placement by partnering an actor on the series with a fictional commodity. The show that has yet to win an Emmy for any of its actors' individual performances is hoping a little playful creativity will finally bring home some much-deserved hardware home for Don Draper and co.
