On Saturday, June 7, a limo bus carrying comic James McNair, actor Tracy Morgan and comics Harris Stanton and Ardie Fuqua crashed on the New Jersey Turnpike.

The limo bus, which was carrying two drivers, overturned at around 1 a.m. at Cranbury Township, New Jersey. The accident also involved five other vehicles, including two tractor trailers and an SUV. McNair, best known as "Jimmy Mack" to the comic community and churchgoers, was killed in the crash. Authorities told the AP that the 62-year-old comic of Peekskill, New York, was pronounced dead at the scene. McNair was named as one of Morgan's comedy writers and close friends. He also hosted "The Original Uncle Jimmy Mack's Amateur Hour."

Morgan is currently in critical condition in a New Jersey hospital, along with three others from the bus. According to the AP, two occupants weren't injured.

"Tracy remains in critical condition at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital," Morgan's representative, Lewis Kay, said in a statement. "He sustained these injuries in an accident that occurred early this morning as one of several passengers in a chauffeured SUV returning from a tour date in Delaware. His family is now with him and he is receiving excellent care. We don't anticipate much of a change in his condition today but will provide a further update once more information becomes available."
