This Kid Has The Most Beard-Tastic Yearbook Photo In All Of 5th Grade

Fifth grade yearbook photo or lumberjack mug shot?

Eleven-year-old David Yearsley loves to make his classmates laugh, so during the colder months earlier this school year, he wore a crochet hat with a beard attached -- you know, to keep his face warm. On picture day last fall, he decided that his hat would serve a greater purpose: as an accessory for his yearbook photo.

The school found it so hilarious, they printed a proof to keep in the office, where his mother, Sonja Yearsley, saw it for the first time. "I laughed when I first saw it and the ladies at the front desk asked if I wanted it retaken," she told The Huffington Post in an email. She decided to let the photo appear in the yearbook as is.

"My son is a jokester, just like his momma," she said.

Who knows what the 6th grade will bring?
