'Masters Of Sex' Moves From The Lab To The Bedroom In Season 2 Trailer

'Masters Of Sex' Season 2 Trailer Mixes Work And Pleasure

Work and (sexual) pleasure are two things that probably shouldn't mix, but from the looks of "Masters of Sex" Season 2, they're beyond entangled.

In the new trailer for the second season of the Showtime series, which is based on the lives and work of human sexuality pioneers Dr. William Masters and Virginia Johnson, the two take their research from the lab to the bedroom. The trailer opens with Lizzy Caplan's Virigina saying, "Sex: enjoy it if and when you can ... But keep your heart out of it." It doesn't look like that's going to happen this season with their steamy affair in full force.

"Masters of Sex" Season 2 premieres on July 13 at 10 p.m. ET on Showtime.
