A food truck that exploded on a street in Philadelphia injured multiple people on Tuesday, officials said.
Three people suffered serious burns after the parked truck burst into flames outside of an auto body shop in the city's Feltonville neighborhood, the Associated Press reported. Authorities said that 12 people in total were hurt.
"The sounds of the screams," witness Shaquille Glover said to NBC Philadelphia. "I'll never forget that."
Accounts varied in the media about the age and gender of the three most seriously injured.
Another nine victims were also taken to the hospital for treatment, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported.
It was not immediately clear to officials what caused the La Parrillada Chapina truck to explode around 3:30 p.m., though a witness told the Associated Press that firefighters said a propane tank blew.
Reports said the truck usually parks outside the auto body shop.
