"Harry Potter" actor Dave Legeno died while hiking in Death Valley National Park in California, TMZ and Yahoo have reported.

Legeno's body was found "in a remote wash" by a pair of hikers on Sunday, July 6, according to a Yahoo report. Police told TMZ that Legeno most likely died of heat related issues and may have been dead for three to four days before his body was discovered.

Best known for his role as werewolf Fenrir Greyback in the "Harry Potter" film series, the 50-year-old was also an MMA fighter and went by the ring name The Enforcer.

HuffPost Entertainment contacted representatives for Legeno to confirm the TMZ report. This story will be updated if and when they respond.
