Lupita Nyong'o Faces Her Fear Of Snakes For Vogue Giving Us Yet Another Reason To Love Her

Posted: Updated:

Lupita Nyong'o is already an Oscar winning-actress, Miu Miu muse, Lancôme spokeswoman and she can even braid hair like a pro. With that said, It wouldn't be too much of a stretch to add snake charmer to her list of monikers, right?

Well, kind of.

The "12 Years A Slave" star took to Instagram to share a behind-the-scenes video from her recent Vogue cover shoot in Marrakesh, where she's cautiously wearing a cobra around her neck as a real snake charmer keeps the reptile calm, cool and collected. She added the caption: #bts: rehearsal for the snake shot. Nobody said being on the cover would be easy. #FightYourFearAndWin.

From the petrified look on Ms. Nyong'o's face and her quick exit once the snake is removed, it doesn't look like she'll be doing that again anytime soon. But we do love that she faced her fear...and won!

Check out the terrifying, yet triumphant, moment below...
