Jason Biggs stirred up controversy when he tweeted a joke following the news that a Malaysia Airlines plane had been shot down over Ukraine. The "Orange Is The New Black" actor addressed the issue during a HuffPost Live interview on Monday, July 21, telling host Alyona Minkovski that the incident would change the way he uses social media.
"You just need to think about what you put out there," Biggs told Minkovski. "Because people can get hurt and that's what happened, that's what I did -- I hurt some people. And that's not my intent, that's never my intent, so yeah, moving forward I need to not be stupid."
