There was some brotherly love on display in between innings on Wednesday night at Busch Stadium. Just before Tampa Bay Rays catcher Jose Molina walked onto the field in the bottom of the first inning, his younger brother Yadier of the St. Louis Cardinals left him a little surprise at home plate.
Yadi, who is on the DL with a thumb injury, had Cardinals third base coach Jose Oquendo place some crackers on the dish as he made his way to his position. When Jose arrived at home plate, he smiled an put the crackers in his back pocket.
Yadier seemed to get a kick out of it in the dugout. Good times.
