After all the jokes, Kardashian jabs and low-blow cracks at politicians, Joel McHale was surprised at the one joke he got grief about after hosting the White House Correspondents' Dinner in May: a fat joke about New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.
When McHale joined HuffPost Live on Tuesday to chat about "Community," among other things, he said that while he was surprised about the Christie backlash, it was not the biggest shock of the night.
"He couldn't have been cooler afterwards. He was effusively cool," Mchale told host Ricky Camilleri. "It was very cool and strange, and he couldn't have been nicer. He took pictures with my family, he ate one of my kids' hands. No, he couldn't have been nicer."
