Russell Brand Tells Sean Hannity To Abandon 'Vengeance And Hatred'

Russell Brand responded to Sean Hannity's response to his criticism of Hannity's coverage of Gaza on Friday by asking Hannity to "come back to humanity."

Hannity called Brand "dumb" and "ignorant" after Brand took issue with the way he'd treated a Palestinian guest on his show. In a 13-minute response, Brand picked apart every aspect of Hannity's reply, and while made sure to tell Hannity he had an "idiot" living in his head, he ended on a kinder note:

"Sean, you're a human being. Come back to humanity. You've lost yourself, mate. Tonight when you go home, look in the mirror for a little while, take a deep breath, remember how you were as a child, remember how you feel about the people you love, remember that all human beings everywhere, they have those sensations and those feelings, try and speak from a perspective of love not from vengeance and hatred."
