When Pirates second baseman Neil Walker smashed a deep home run at Chase Field Saturday night, he was convinced that the ball had landed in the stadium's famous swimming pool. Teammate Jordy Mercer, however, insisted that the ball had only landed near the water, and not in it. The two made a wager out of the situation, with the loser having to take a dip in the pool himself.
As the footage shows, the ball never got wet -- but Walker did. True to his bet, he jumped in the pool Sunday afternoon.
