Olaf likes warm hugs, but it seems "Once Upon a Time" likes cold shoulders.
“OUAT” executive producer Adam Horowitz told E! that they wanted their show to stand alone from the Disney film. Horowitz said, "We're not trying to do a sequel to ‘Frozen.’ We're trying to do our ‘Once Upon a Time’ version of it and create our own little world and hope that fans of ‘Frozen’ and fans of ‘Once’ can enjoy it."
The move may be a little confusing for some since producers previously stated they wanted Kristen Bell to make an appearance and the actress said she'd be down for it, but it looks like fans who wanted to see Bell and Idina Menzel bring their animated roles to life should just take Elsa's advice.
Season 4 of "Once Upon a Time" premieres Sunday, September 28, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
